I am a presentation template author, and I would like to ask if anyone has experienced a similar issue. Some of my new items have been soft rejected because the main cover does not meet the requirements—specifically, Envato does not allow stacked slides or cropped slides that cut off important parts of the presentation content.
I have already made adjustments according to the guidelines, but some of my items are still getting soft rejected. However, strangely enough, some other items with a similar cover have been approved and published. This makes me wonder—do different reviewers have different standards? It can be quite confusing and time-consuming to keep making changes without clear consistency.
I would really appreciate any insights, suggestions, or even an official response from the Envato team regarding this matter.
Thank you! Apologies if there are any wording mistakes.
It’s possible. Also it depends on the item. If they have enough items, they may just reject.
i have upload template there and i dont see it there is it rejection or its approved i cant see it any where inmy profile
If there’s nothing on “hidden items” it’s rejected. Check your email settings for the notifications
They have stopped sending “rejected” email notifications for photos. Maybe they have stopped for other items as well? I have to check my Portfolio Manager to see if items have been reviewed yet and rejected.
I could guess about the photos with the recent changes at Elements and SS merge but I think the marketplace ( TF/CC ) are still sending the emails..

I totally understand your frustration! It can be really confusing and discouraging when you’ve followed the guidelines carefully, only to see similar items get approved, while yours keep getting soft rejected. I’ve had similar experiences, and sometimes it feels like there’s no clear consistency in the review process.
From my experience, there can be differences in how individual reviewers interpret the guidelines, which might explain why some items are approved while others are rejected, even if they seem very similar. It might be worth reaching out to the support team directly to get more specific feedback on your items—sometimes a more detailed explanation can help clarify exactly what needs to be adjusted.
I’d also recommend checking if there are any subtle updates to the review standards or community guidelines that might not be immediately obvious. I’ve found that sometimes small changes or interpretations can cause variations in the approval process.
Hang in there! It’s a tough but rewarding process, and hopefully, with a little more clarification from the team, you’ll be able to get your items approved.
Thanks i email setting was off let me try to edit and resend
Do not upload the same item without any “proper” changes.
