The design is simply outdated and clearly lacks aesthetics. Typography is almost unexisting and there is room for improvement with spacing. Overall, it clearly lacks personality and originality. Take a look at the popular templates, the design is stellar.
Work more. Submit new stuff. Get rejected. Carry on and eventually you’ll get there, if you don’t resign before that.
It takes a lot of effort and creativity to be listed here.

Being a good developer and being a good designer is a completely different thing. If you cannot see the design issues on the current product, you should partner up with a designer to maximize your chances. Your skills are honorable and I can see you are a good developer. Howevee, designing for themeforest is a completely different mindset.

This layout did not have a premium design, so they rejected it and I understand them.
Having carefully studied and compared this design, I discovered a lot of things.
But luckily everything can be changed.
