I just mistakenly re-purchased a WordPress plugin that I had already purchased a while back. Somehow, it was stuck in my cart. I meant to purchase something else, but wasn’t paying proper attention. I have not downloaded this plugin.
The “Envato Market Refund Rules” state that, for a refund, I need to contact the author and that I need to provide the author with the “purchase code.” I did that. The author responded that I should “kindly raise the refund request with Envato.” How do I do that?
I’ve spent some time searching, but I can find no way to contact Envato direclty, other than through this forum. So how do I “raise the refund request with Envato.”
Thanks, @baileyherbert , I submitted my request via the refund_request link. The acknowledgement message said: “Your request for a refund has been sent to the author of this item.”
Indeed, refund requests go to authors for approval.
However, authors aren’t actually able to issue refunds entirely on their own. They need you to open a refund request from that page first, which is why the author couldn’t help you initially.
Thanks once more, @baileyherbert . I find this site quite a labyrinth, between Envato, Theme Forest, and Code Canyon. Not easy to navigate for those who don’t visit regularly.
In any event, I wonder if these two pages might be somehow cross-linked:
Would make things a lot easier for users, it seems to me.
