But, if 2200 Elite Authors made $75k than it’s only 75000/2200=$34 in average per one elite author? Is it a mistake or am I missing something?
And what period are these numbers for?

It is 75K each. To become an elite author, you have to sell items for more than 75,000 USD. This is also not earnings, it means buyers have paid this for your products, your earnings will be lower.

So, 2200 Authors have reached the threshold yet, i.e. 2200 authors have sold over 75,000 USD on envato marketplaces.

Your sales depend on at least 3 factors:

  1. The quality of your products (this is the most important and if you have little sales, you need to start here)
  2. Search algorithm. Yes, it is certainly important. And on how many I understand Envato constantly experiments with him. But this is not always bad. Sales growth can also be related to search.
  3. In addition to you on the market a lot of participants and their actions also affect on your position.

Yeh, the quality… sure thing!
Not the fact that my new items are now buried and nowhere to be found because of the new sorting “best sellers” first. My item is on the lowest page ever, even if it’s a new item.
I’m not selling audio stuff as you do, so I don’t know how things are on AudioJungle.
I’m selling WordPress themes, and the new default sorting is killing new items and sales.

I do not justify and not accuse anyone. I just want to say that there are many more factors than you have indicated.

I’m aware of that.
But in this case, the quality is good (as by reviews says it already), and the themes are good.
But since they’re not popular, my items can’t be found easily.
They’re on the latest pages (on the WordPress Category) even if the last one is 2 moths old.
How is this not affecting the sales?
My last item, 2 months old item, is on the last page in it’s subcategory. So yeh, this, this affects the sales, because both of us know no one go further than page 2 or 3 when searching for things.
