I uploaded an item that I’m already selling on my own website, I still wanted to test Envato’s process for authors and see if it would increase sales.
This is a WP plugin, which already sells, somehow it got rejected without ANY explanation why, which is really helpful (not really).
Thankfully, I have my own platform, so i don’t really care much about it.
First, I thought about fixing it and resubmitting it, but since they didn’t tell me what was wrong with the plugin, or the images, or the licence. (why?)
I decided to used my extra energy to integrate the Woocommerce completed sales of this specific plugin, with an email marketing tool that is not linked to my standard campaigns, a temporal emails creation tool, all via API and automated, so each time my plugin has a sale on my website, this email address market@help.envato.com will get an email telling them about it, and thanking them for the fact I can keep 100% of the price.
Thanks Envato
If the emails start bouncing I will switch the server and check that your support email still active.
If I reach 100 sales per day I will celebrate by trying to find the CEO’s email and link that so my email system as well.
