I often worked during years on a freelancer website with someone on creating/editing videos.
I thought I could give you some hints to create more successful templates.

Real estate agents often search these features for their videos:

  • Google Earth tours built with Google Earth Tour Builder to show buildings and stores nearby, to help give potential buyers a solid understanding of the area. An example of something similar at a larger scale: https://tourbuilder.withgoogle.com/builder#play/ahJzfmd3ZWItdG91cmJ1aWxkZXJyEQsSBFRvdXIYgICA8J6Y5wsM/ahJzfmd3ZWItdG91cmJ1aWxkZXJyJwsSBFRvdXIYgICA8J6Y5wsMCxIJUGxhY2VtYXJrGICAgICArpkJDA

  • another feature they like is also when using Google Earth to zoom in from space, from satellite view, into street view, to show the places and streets nearby. Something similar to this: http://www.google.com/earth/explore/showcase/3dimagery.html#tab=rome Just imagine you’re the property buyer: you’d definitely want to know what’s around the property.

  • don’t forget also about placeholders for prices and description of properties

  • also rotating 3D views (just rotate around a bit the property images to help buyers see a realistic 3D view of the room/property). In most templates, the images showing the rooms are static now…

  • maybe include a way to highlight some areas of the images/videos with an ellipse to show interesting or important features (for instance to highlight beautiful interior stairs)

  • include some beautiful scenes with nice formatted text where to showcase the history of the property. Most agents are interested to add the history of the house, who lived there, when, etc
