Sorry looking for clarification. The wording here is contradictory. Envato says “If you unsubscribe, you can no longer use items from Envato Elements. However, any existing uses that you registered are still covered”
This sounds to me like if you unsubscribe you can no longer use the items so you would have to pull any projects you had containing them. So how are they still covered if I can’t use them? lol. Seriously contradicting. So which is it? If we unsubscribe do we have to pull all of our projects containing envato clips?
As long as the end-product is ready, you can cancel the subscription. But if the project is still going on ( working process ) you will have to keep the subscription
For example, you need to design a website. You subscribed Elements and started the project. You’re downloading the items that you may or you may not use.
From the beginning to the end ( when the website is ready and live ), you have to have the active subscription. When the project is done and you don’t need any other materials from Elements, you can cancel the subscription and keep the items licenced.

You can continue using projects that include the items and are complete whilst you are subscribed.
You cannot use the item in any new projects once you unsubscribe.

Thank you for the reply. So as long as the website was “live” at the time of cancellation the elements used in that website are covered after cancellation? Sorry, just trying to make sure I’ve been burned so much in the past by companies like this just making triple sure lol.
Yes, when the website is live, you can cancel the subscription but after that point you cannot use any new material/item even though you may still have some time till the end of your subscription. Make sure everything is ready, then cancel the subscription
