I purchased a theme on Themforest under Regular License.
From the documentation it is not clear whether the images imported by the Sample Import Data module can be freely used in commercial projects or whether they are protected by copyright.
Someone can help me?

Envato don’t give permissions to include preview demo images in the purchased download because of copyright issue. So, author use placeholder images. But you can contact theme author and ask them the images source.

If the images are protected by copyright, those shouldn’t be included to the demo data.
If those images are being imported, you could use the images. Just to make sure, you could check the item description page or the documentation if there’s any further step is required.
