I wonder. Anyone can buy a standard license and use it on a film or documentary, without making a cue sheet with the PRO, who will check? ENVATO? I doubt.
Technically a film director could try do it but if it ever comes to light they would be in BIG trouble if the track is registred in a PRO. The indemnization owed will probably be much more expensive than what would have been buying the extended license and filling the cue sheet.
Just the fact of using it without the proper license could lead to a big legal headache. I’ve been there in a micro scale two times with TV Spots and won both arm-wrestles quite swiftly and, to be honest, cordialy and amicably.
