How Author Fee Is Calculated

Hi,

I have a product for $16, $5 buyer fee included.

It says i’ll earn $6.87 from $11, buyer fee excluded and an author fee.

But in statments it takes another 2.58 dollars from me and gaves me $4.32. How is this work? Getting $4.32 from $16, how can this be fair?

I think that sale was for US customer and Us withholding tax taken from you.

( Item List Price - Buyer fee ) = Item Price
( Item Price - TAX ) - Author fee = Author Earning
