Hi everyone!
My first production on AudioJungle has been rejected because it “isn’t at the quality standard required to move forward”. Can someone explain me why?
Thank you so much

HI,
I really like the composition, some lovely ideas in there and I can tell you worked really hard on it.
I think the reject is for a few different reasons. First off I would suggest a better quality library like BBC symphony Core or Spitfire strings. They don’t have to be the super expensive ones. Your music just deserves a better quality library.
Secondly, your mix needs improving. I understand how difficult it is to mix a full orchestra but you haven’t done the basics of panning instruments in certain ways and adding appropriate reverbs etc. I would suggest a youtube video that explains mixing orchestra in a DAW. There’s lots out there and I learned a lot from the Spitfire youtube videos on mixing. Your mix is very dry and lacks depth.
I would mix and master again and then re-upload in the future.
great composition.
all the best to you.

Thank you very much for your reply and for the time you have dedicated to me.
To tell the truth, I used Albion One library from Spitfire as my main library, I’m probably not able to use it at its best. As for the mix, I agree with you, thanks for the advice, if you want you can link me some videos that were useful for you about orchestral mixing I would be really grateful. It is often difficult to sort out the thousands of videos that are on youtube. Thank you very much, all the best to you. Lorenzo
Hi Lorenzo,
Apologies, Albion One is great. You’ve got all the tools to make it sound amazing.
Check out this video from Jake Jackson:
Thank You!

Great song.A bit convoluted for the RF market. As someone wrote above, the mix a a bit eclectic.I explained in another topic something similar. Its really hard to achieve the mechanical air waves moving and creates sympatethic resonance with sample libraries. One really simple advice is to mix this style with really small moves ( cutting obvious resonances , do not boost at all !) If you feel you need more clarity on the highs or low end just use it on master bus or groups. Not on individual instruments. I suggest to google for ’ scoring halls’ as IR’s. I believe there are some free ones from Bricasti.Use them on master bus with decent setting.Good job.
