Like the design, One suggestion - some of the text is hard to read - white text on a light colored background
Hi there!
Great theme. Light and “sharp”
I’ve noticed an issue with the mosaic on a bigger screen (iMac 27")
It would help a general impression a lot if you zoomed images to cover a whole tile.
Otherwise I can’t imagine a reason why this would be hard-rejected… maybe there is an overload of multi-purpose WP themes and they don’t allow more unless very exceptional ones.
Great job, though.
Thanks a lot, fixed it. And thank you for your feedback!
I like your theme. It is really pretty and the design looks clean and all cute. 2 years ago, this would be accepted so easily. But today, as the quality of the themes rises every day and lots of themes have very similar concepts, it is so important to be somehow original and fresh. I really don’t see anything wrong with your theme design-wise, it’s very well thought-out. I feel really sad, because I know how it is to work months on something and get it rejected. I would at least grant you a soft-reject on design, a hard reject feels so harsh for such a lovely theme. But, the truth is, there is an oversaturation of this type of themes today. I can’t think of another reason why this would be rejected.
the design was great, it must be the code
Such a beautiful theme. What’s the reason they gave you?
Thank you for the feedback!
Here is the reason:
“Unfortunately your submission Sharp – Responsive Multipurpose Wordpress Theme isn’t ready for ThemeForest and cannot be resubmitted as it did not meet our minimum requirements for quality and/or Envato Market policies. In order for submissions to be considered for sale they must be of high aesthetic and technical quality, unique to our library and cannot be in violation of Envato’s policies.”
ok so:
Yes, we checked both.
in timeline element, time meta text shouldn’t look like normal text.
You should increase typography contrast
The hard rejects are never about code, reviewers are checking the code only AFTER they like the design.
Got it. Thanks for your advices
