I’m looking to add a better copyright/disclaimer to my work that I sent to clients during the design process.
I’ve been using the following statement:
The material contained herein is for review purposes only. [My Company] retains all title, ownership, and intellectual property rights to the material contained herein.
I’m just not crazy about the wording, anyone have any better examples? Thanks!
It’s a good idea to send a low resolution sample that is lightly watermarked along with a disclaimer in your signature… here are some examples that might help you find the words that suit what you’re doing.
This e-mail is the property of [my company] It is intended only for the person or entity to which it is addressed and may contain information that is privileged, confidential, or otherwise protected from disclosure. Distribution or copying of this e-mail, or the information contained herein, to anyone other than the intended recipient is prohibited.
DISCLAIMER Important! This message is intended for the above named person(s) only and is CONFIDENTIAL AND PROPRIETARY.
