I was wondering if anybody could give me feedback on a tune that was rejected?
I just wish I knew why this wasn’t good enough.

Hi,
Your first track doesn’t sounds good to me. Bad mixing and bad selection of some instruments. (The repeating piano sounds very robotic and became monotonus, rhythm guitar has a strange rattle-sound, (ears very quickly get tired of the guitar), vst for solo tune is not suitable in this track in my opinion, etc…)
If you tried to do something for the folk category, then you need to achieve a more natural sound!
My advice, banal but, уou need to work more in the mix, and listen to more tracks of top authors in these categories. But this is just my opinion. Of course I could be wrong!
Anyway, I wish you good luck!
P.S Your second track sounds more interesting to me, but only first part of it. But I won’t give advice in this genre. Maybe someone else from the authors wants to give feedback.

The drums in Epic Beat sound pretty nice. You should work more on automating the synth line, though.
