Hello,

I am receiving the follow message and i can’t update my theme anymore.

Failed to connect to the Envato API. Please contact the hosting providier with this message: “The Envato Market WordPress plugin requires TLS version 1.2 or above, please confirm if this hosting account supports TLS version 1.2 and allows connections from WordPress to the host api.envato.com”.

What i can do to fix it?

Hello and thanks for your response!

We put Envato’s IP in whitelist and now working and i do not see any error message but my theme U-Design is not at the latest version and i do not see any update for this.

I must wait or i can do something else to fix it this?

the following 3 permissions should be selected from the list of permission available on the Token page.

  1. View and search Envato sites (checked by default)
  2. Download the user’s purchased items
  3. List purchases the user has made

It is allready like this.

Please go to theme page and compare the version you have and published in themeforest. if version are different then you should get notification about the update. You can ask theme author about the update process.

Otherwise you can download the update version from Envato Market Downloads page and update manually using ftp.

Note: Better to keep a full backup before doing the update.

At this time i have installed the 3.4.18 and now is out the 4.0.0 but i do not see the note for auto update.

I know how can i install it manually but this is not help me. :frowning:

Please ask theme author about the auto update process for their theme. ask theme is there any extra permissions need for their theme auto update?

You can also check theme documentation to find the update process.
