Changed host now Unable to update theme using envato market plugin 2.0.6

Hello, I’m looking for some help.

In the past month I have switched hosting providers and my Total theme has an update available. When I click orange.red banner to update the process fails. A message stated that my theme is at the latest version… which its not.

I have opened a ticket with my hosting provider but they tell me that the hosting configuration is correct. providing me with the output of the test.

Within the plugin settings tab the test api function completes successfully. I have also changed my token but the result is the same.

Is there anything someone could suggest I try?

It’s more like to diagnose the problem instead of suggestions but you can search the forum maybe similar issues and solutions.

In case of interest for paid support, after purchase of this service, I can take a look at the system to find the problem

Thank you for your reply and letting me know about the services you offer… I have an IT infrastructure background but was looking for a bit more detail around the Envato Market plugin because I havent been able to find much documentation.

I can always update the the theme manually while I track down the source of the problem.

Hello,

Just thought I would share the solution that worked for me.

Backup the theme.
Delete the theme.
Goto Envarto Market Plugin and choose install.
Theme installs with latest theme version.

The plugin must not like that I migrated the wordpress installation to a new host and then installing the Envato Market plugin.

You got the issue solved, just a mention: I wouldn’t recommend you to uninstall the theme and install again. Just download the theme from Themeforest and manually upload it to WordPress theme installer, overwriting your current theme install. This will launch a “Theme already exists” screen and will ask if you want to replace the already installed version by the new one.

Sometimes, when you deactivate/reactivate a theme you can get theme options and widgets modified/overwritten.

Thank you all for taking the time to respond to my post. Since re applying the template using the Envato Market plugin all seems to be OK. The true test will be when there is a new release.
