there are months now that I have clients who upload files on dropbox for me to download, (I even suggested them to use this service) but too many times, when downloading the files I get speeds of 40kb/s This is getting ridiculous when you need to download 800mb files
I think dropbox is lost. Anyone have this experience?

I had issues where Dropbox would just stop syncing out every now and then which was annoying. I use Copy now. No issues with it as of yet.
Same here. Also a lot of times when i upload files the upload process just stops and I have to reupload it. When you upload 2GB’s it’s kinda annoying to upload the same file 2-3 times…
Maybe there’s a heavy load on their servers since they just recently changed their 100mb plan to 1TB. I’ve had no issues with it lately, but then again I haven’t downloaded any large files recently.
Tried dropbox, mega and gdrive had various problems with all of them, the only one I have never had problems with is opendrive, generous free space and very fast, syncing is very good in comparison with gdrive
I’ve got a TB capacity account and have no issue uploading large files to them. When I use my desktops, sometimes it’s so quick that it doesn’t even give me time to make coffee! My other (mobile) devices vary in speed by their respective hardware capabilities and connections strengths.
Though I don’t sync everything and use the Selective Sync to prevent additional background syncing of files that I don’t want to wait for and might slow syncing down.- https://www.dropbox.com/help/4456
