It’s so cumbersome to have to download a short stock footage clip that’s like 2GB in size. Surely Envato Elements needs to up its game here… Even free sites like Pixabay and Pexels offer this option. Envato is making video creation a massively frustrating process and I’m tempted to look elsewhere because this feature is absent.
Envato, any plans to introduce this feature? While I love the library, I just can’t deal with HUGE clip sizes.
Definitely a good idea and one our Devs would like to introduce. No exact time frame yet, but keep your eyes peeled 
Hi KingDog, it’s been 1.5 years since my post. Is there any action taken on this. It’s hugely time consuming to download a 5 second clip I need that’s 1.5GB. It slows down the process immensely. All the other major stock footage sites such as StoryBlocks and even free sites like Pixabay and Pexels have different video resolution downloads. Is Envato ever going to do this?
I subscribed a few days ago. But this absence of this feature will make me not renew my subscription. I have slow internet connection, so you can guess the pain when videos I’ve been trying to download for the past 3 days keep breaking at 85 - 90% download completion. Very frustrating.
Really wish Envato could respond to this. I spend a lot of time editing for YouTube Shorts and TikTok. The file sizes are making it incredibly time consuming and inefficient to do my job. What’s even more annoying is that competitors all have different download resolutions for stock video. I’ll have to cancel my subscription unless they fix this issue.

You’re right it’s taken way too long. It keeps coming up as a feature we want to add but sadly it hasn’t been a big enough priority yet.
