Developer does not give me my money back despite buggy plugin

I bought a plugin here, like so many times before. This time I got caught by a cheat. The developer has / had full access to the site and could take care of the issue. He did not do this and in his emails he always writes that it works. I had asked him to create a screencast where he should show me that it works and that on my site. I have installed the plugin several times under different conditions. The latest state is that I only installed WordPress with his plugin and the needed additional plugins. It definitely does not work. After the request of a screencast video the developer stopped the communication, although he promised to do it within 18 hours. Now the Jackass is also offended. No help has come from Envato so far. Envato should be aware of his responsibility and set up an escrow service like PayPal. Does anyone have any idea how I get my money? The plugin is absolutely useless.

I’ve already applied for a refund. It was rejected by the developer. Now I’ve filed a dispute motion, but I haven’t heard anything more from you.

Thank you, I’m glad to hear that. I don’t want any trouble, but for $50 I want a working plug-in. In the meantime I bought an alternative one and there you can see that there are also great developers who have a great documentation and a plugin that works and is great to configure. Thanks for your help!
