After 14 years with Envato i am starting to take down my tracks i just feel so stressed when i make 6 dollars a night. With 615 tracks its just peanuts.Any other authors having same sales. As for market place i often only make 20 dollars a month. If things change with shutterstock i might put them back up if allowed. But i feel the library music market seems to have taken a turn recently.
Hey there!
On the phone so I’ll be short and sloppy. I wouldn’t delete my tracks… at least not now. No harm in keeping them up and it’s definitely not sure you’ll be able to reupload them here later. Unless u have an alternative exclusive outlet to explore, removing ur tracks won’t help IMO.
U can always upload a track or two every now and then and who knows, u might get lucky.
Round here numbers are not so bad, though they are 70% below my best days, in the pre-Elements era.
Best of luck!
Well i am 90 % down .I might ask them to be put back up if Envato allows At mo it is grinding me down.I am not too far off my pension which will help.
If you will take them down, you will have zero dollars a month and it would not harm anyone else but you. Dont let the emotion to make the decisions for you and try to see what you can do to improve your situation. Maybe you have bad tags or your prices are not realistic. Also try not to depend on one income source if you are non exclusive, which is the best option for these days. Market will not go back. We have to go forward too.
