Changes To How Authors Receive Earnings Payouts From Envato

what if I use Payoneer and my Payoneer account will be stolen or hacked? This is very common case. And this is reason why we used several payout system to be sure that we will not lose ALL money if something will be wrong. Also, it’s not clear how often we can change payout system.

No.

You’ll get your money when your account balance reached $500 level.
BTW, why don’t you want to use a Payoneer? In your situation, this will be the most reasonable decision.

yep. How many fees do you pay withdrawing money via SWIFT? $50 or something?

Hi,

What means “owned by you”? For example, i f i use Paypal account, the email adress of the paypal account must be author adress ?

The account can’t belong to somebody else.

thanks

Another reason Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies need to thrive so we’re not dependent on the current financial institutions with extortionate fees!

Absolutely crazy and disgusting changes and ridiculous announcement! monthly paymetns should be an option, not the rule. for many many authors it means only problems. Envato, what are you doing?!

What if I havent setup any withdraw accounts yet?
Where do all my earned money will go?

total of 60$
25$ for AJ
25$ on the way
and 10$ for my local bank here

Why?
What’s a problem?
Im an author and I want to accumulate funds for longer than one month. How it can be bad for anyone in the world?

What happens if some of us purchase templates through our accounts? That means each month all money goes out and we have to deposit more money so we can buy templates?! Is that correct?

My Payoneer account is tied with Envato in the following way:
Funds that I receive from Envato are transferred into my bank account with a 15 US Dollars fee.
Then my local bank implies a fee of minimum 4 US Dollars for transfers (this is the lowest bank fee in my country, other banks charge even more).
And later on I am to pay taxes from amount I receive.

So in case I reach my 20 USD withdrawal limit I’ll receive only 1 USD finally (but 5 USD will be taxated according to the laws of my country).
Funny, huh?

Is there an option to fine-tune Envato-Payoneer payment in the way that money land on Payoneer account without transfer? So that I can accumulate funds at least at Payoneer.
This is the job you should do for us, your authors, in exchange for this inconvenient one-side changes you make.

Regards

Sorry, But this another stupid decision again from ENVATO!

I don’t know why Envato make these types of decisions that all of them contain lots of challenges for authors!!!

Do you have any wise staff in your team ?!

All of their decisions are one-sided and i guess they think authors are their slaves and they can do anything they like!!!

They did not care about the authors, if they are interested in the author’s thinking they will put a survey and ask the authors what think about it, that’s easy. In last years in this market has become only important money no matter for everything else. Unfortunately money is always in the first place.

This is a good question.

Oh no, automated payments is very bad idea and I don’t like it! We have to pay quite high fees for bank transfers. I am from the Czech Republic, I use Payoneer and every single transfer costs me $25, for PayPal it is $42. It means that I would have to pay $300 / $504 on fees per year instead of $50 / $84. This is a lot of money spent on bank fees and it will ruin smaller authors. Suggested minimum amounts are too low. If you insist on automated payments, let’s use at least $1000 as a minimum for automated payments. This change does not have any benefit for authors. It’s a serious problem for smaller authors. Please reconsider at least the minimum amounts. Thanks.
