Changes To How Authors Receive Earnings Payouts From Envato

That is, if I understood correctly, if I have two accounts and on each of them a different payment method set (paypal and swift - both accounts belong to me), I have to set the same payout destination on each account, e.g. swift?

that is, I can use other sources of money withdrawal?
but I cannot connect others new?

Exactly! Not every country has smooth process of withdrawal. I’m here 6 years, and I used Payoneer, then Skrill, now I return to Payoneer again. I change 3 times my bank account. And several times held my earnings for more than a month.
And now Envato say that they will throw earnings anywhere each month, no matte you are ready to receive them or not on your side.

Yeah, you’re not tied to the one withdrawal method for the rest of time. You can always change it, as long as you’re changing it to an account that you own.

This is really a bad decision for us. Who will pay the exta $400 each year for swift? We have payout after 3-4 month via swift which will cost $50 around for us.

Hi all,

The bad think is when you work with someone as partner from other country because :
When you receive a commercial payment you will pay a fee which is 3.40% + $0.30 USD plus a corr border fee will be applied…

When you receive a payment from a customer in a different country, you are charged a ‘Cross-border’ fee. This fee is to cover the cost of the extra processing required for payments between different countries and regions and varies according to country and currency.

same

There are many of us who dont want to withdraw every month for many reasons.

Now I will have to do accounting on monthly basis and pay swift and bank transactions, plus all other problems of receiving freelance money on monthly basis.

Can you explain how do you not gain from commissions? As I see it more transfers more commissions.
Maybe you spent those commissions on your expenses for your bank commissions?

Cheers

One more interesting fact is, which can actually benefit bigger authors is that now it’s going to be even harder for the small authors.

This is going to be off-topic but you guys need to listen this! =)

Long story almost short: a couple of months ago I took down one of my file from Envato and uploded and updated version on another marketplace, as a freebie! This is my only item on that marketplace, just so you know…and it’s free…
Well, last week I almost got emotional when I went to pick up the post and…this marketplace sent me a Christmas postcard straight to my home address!!
A postcard…in 2018…I haven’t received a postcard for the last…15 years? And who sent me a postcard? A website where I have uploaded 1 item for free 2 months ago!

Learn something from this! These are the small little things that makes the difference!

Tell me more about how community-oriented Envato is please! :joy:
…how much do I have to sell here before I receive vegemite? Ahaha

Sounds good and thanks for keeping us in the loop!

What if I want to split the payment? One part in Payoneer and one in PayPal but both accounts are mine.

You Cant Split The Payment in One Month - You Can Change One Month Payoneer And Next Month Paypal.

Hi to everyone! Seeing this changes, we just created a topic with some suggestions for Envato to implement new team/partnership tools. If you wanna read more about this, here’s the link: (Petition to Envato) Partnership Tools We’d love to hear you opinions and suggestions you may have!!
