A lot of users do that with their previews. And keep a purchase bar at the top. I don’t see anything wrong with this unless the author is showing different things than what’s on sale!

Well, if you try to point or show anything else other than your product you can be sure your item will be disabled faster than lightnining.
From what I know, affiliates point to the item, the ?ref= that lands on Envato gets registered for that browser and IP address, so if you land via affiliate, all good!
It’s been done and has been done for at least 5 years now, haha! Most major authors with multiple products use this system.
