I’ve seen this so often:
A big Company A commisions a Production Company B to make an imagefilm, advertisement, etc. They have a budget of X. Company B produces the project, pays for filming, location, all the expenses at let’s say 1/3 or 1/2 of the amount X given by Company A. Now they need music… They head to Audiojungle and buy a standard license for 0,1-0,5 % of X. The rest goes into their pockets. Company A thinks Company B hired a composer.
It’s not every production firm, but many of them work like this. They don’t even pass on the PRO data. I’m glad I can raise my prices now.
