Haha, thanks.
(That beer stats image is my computerās new wallpaper).
Envato Market: Your Request for Withdrawal has been Processed (i.e. we sent you beer!)
Welcome to the future!
Sales are really nice, but prices⦠OH dear!..
Author driven prices are coming to AudioJungle soon, it will be interesting
Hope we donāt see another wave of corporate tracks with template, but this time itās $8 each
Thats still happen.
Two days ago i found one with 80% portfolio, but in ambient, with the same track.
February is quite slow, to be honest. Only few old tracks being sold, which is strange (conspiracy theory).
On the other hand, finally level 4! Just a little sad i spent first 2 years doing almost nothing, could have been better result by now
Hey WaveToys! Yeah, I heard (or read) other authors mention that around the forum but couldnāt find any official announcement from Envato, the moderators, nor any solid info whatsoever. Is there any thread discussing that? It would be an interesting, ground-shaking turn indeed.
And congrats on your new tracks, theyāre amazing.
Itās in the VideoHive ADP announcement. Just mentions that it will be coming along after itās implemented on VH.
Thanks!
Dude, that sucks. If theyāre are bluntly copycats or duplicated tracks, you should definitely open a support ticket and get those banned. https://help.market.envato.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
I guess weāll see that waveā¦
That said, people were going crazy before the implementation of ADP at Videohive, fearing a price ārace to the bottomā, but it is not happening exactly like that. Different strategies are being used. Some courageous authors even doubled their prices and clients still buy from them at more or less the same pace. Iām still nervous about ADP, but maybe it will not be too bad.
Good luck this month!
I think Envato should before repair this copycats problem system bug and then maybe implement those new free prices rules. If not in one or two years prepare for the AI submiting corporate copycats tracks every two secs for 1$.
Well, itās definitely one of the possible scenarios. Iāve seen that happen in many freelancing sites, and thatās basically why I decided to give up working through those platforms. The gigs prices were constantly going down (Iām talking about ~$50 for 2 minutes of exclusive, custom music), and yet they received a huge amount of proposals from newcomers or people from countries where the currency still made it worth the effort. Let alone platforms like fiverr or fourerr.
Still, I think things wonāt be that linear in the case of Audiojungle and weāll have to wait and see. Authors from Videohive have been sharing different experiences, some positive and some not-so-positive.
Good luck everybody!
Your point makes a lot of sense, but at the same time, I almost wish for AI to take over the ācorporate-copycatsā style and copy it to death; in hope that it become so overused that buyers then leave this plinky plonky trend behind! I used to like muted guitars, but now, I think I prefer the sound of nails on a blackboardā¦
Even searching under āambientā now return plinky plonky corporate results! A bad joke at this point.
There is really great music in the deepness of Audiojungle, but itās harder and harder to get to it.
Good luck this month
Ambient now is the corporate“s trash can
I love it when you talk dirty.
