Yep.
Everytime I think Envato has done enough to smash our AudioJungle dreams they come up with a new deceptive pure evil plan… And Yeah, This deffo gonna be my first month without incoming cash from this place… That’s what I get for my 6 years of loyal support!
“Thanx”!
“Purchase individual items as you need them”.
In my opinion, this inscription is not needed. If I want to buy in reserve unnecessarily, then it is impossible?
Well that’s definitely a slap in the face of us Audiojungle authors. But I guess it’s not surprising anymore. Envato is going to do whatever it takes to promote Elements. I’m not sure what that means for Audiojungle, or why they’re even keeping it alive. If they intend to shut us down, I would prefer they tell us now, so I can focus my efforts someplace else.
Oh they’re absolutely telling you. Make no mistake about it.
Every minute, we create 11 sales on Envato Market.
Every minute, we license 160 items on Envato Elements.
From the 2019 Impact statement. Next year it may say
Every minute, we create 1 sale on Envato Market.
Every minute, we license 400 items on Envato Elements.
Folks there just is not enough room and money to support every aspiring music producer. Music composition for media is no longer a growth business. If my AJ revenue grows in 2020, It will feel like a miracle, I will be shocked. I am anticipating and planning for a drop in revenue in 2020 and so should you.
Only 18 sales this month. This means that the number of sales decreased by about 3 times compared with the average month (60-70 sales)! This is terrible…
There is a fresh topic here (ThemeForest), read the opinions of others before their staff will remove the topic
Thanks for misquoting me mate! I really appreciate it. *insert sarcasm here
If you plan on posting against the Community Terms, as I mentioned in the post you misquoted me from, then yes, we will lock the thread, otherwise, your feedback is valuable and I’ll make sure the proper staff members get notified!
I love what envato has been doing for the last few years with this market and I’m glad that you are on our, authors side
I just wrote that your message made me laugh ( Laughter is the best medicine ha ha), so I don’t know where I violate the regulations, I express my opinion and comments on the actual state of actions of envato in relation to the authors.
I really am on your side, that’s the sad part, you actually think that my goal here is to keep you muted. What you fail to understand is that if you walk into a group of people, fighting, shouting, screaming, no one will care if one of those people actually has a great idea. The entire group will be disconsidered.
Same applies to threads. If one gets locked because people went crazy, no one will take the time to analyze it, since it’s just 1 good feedback scattered among tens of useless posts.
We’re here to keep the good feedback visible. So staff have a reason to check 10000 posts and get 10000 valuable posts, not 10000 rants and 1 valuable post.
In any case, be my guest to rant away on all threads that are of significant value. If you haven’t noticed until now, feedback gets to the ears of staff, if it’s constructive, it gets lost if it’s inside locked fight full threads.
So, have at it however you see fit. Don’t blame us for keeping the threads on topic or locking them because fights start happening and the whole point of that thread gets lost…
There were topics with suggestions of SIMPLE improvements to Audiojungle platform and despite the fact that the activity of the authors under these posts was enormous, nothing was done about it? in that case, how to trust you (Envato) when you say that our feedback will be heard, sooner you will start reporting uncomfortable authors and closing negative threads than you will listen to us
and I realize that I write it all under the influence of emotions, but we are people and I do not remember over the years, historically that any case would be solved without compassion and understanding of “human as a human”, after all, it is logical that Envato like any other company wants to earn as much as possible , at the lowest cost (I don’t think any author would give a better business solution than the Envato staff, let’s face it), so if we are to demand our “rights” and any changes, the initiator will always be emotions, “shouting” as you said etc, if we were thinking like robots, most of us would leave this platform completely, but maybe people are still deluding that something will change
Finally there are people who have been with envato for many years, and what you do to them is something terrible.
This will end my opinion, and I agree that i am not providing any solution to the problem here, because experience shows how much our suggestions are taken into account, good luck in “supervision” these discussions.
But atleast they mention high quality, unique, niche type of words for marketplaces !
Finally i wanna say one thing to Envatoa nd all other subscription sites CEO’s
A Corporate greed will be controlled or overtaken by another big Corporate guy greed
You all will be overthrown by Amazon soon ! i challen it it will happen soon !
The $5 minimum is there because of the fixed buyers fee.
2 days without sales.
I’m up to 14 days with no sales currently.
We all should start a page against subscription music
Page name is Cheap Subscription Music and its Cheap Users
February was best month in the past six. But i am sure, that this is just fluctuation. I almost didn’t upload but still got sales.
I think it is important to share some good news as well in these troubled times and I am happy to say that this week has been the best earning week for me ever in stock music. Much thanks to a 10 million broadcast license here on AJ and 2 more extended licenses in a Chinese site.
Actually all 3 extended licenses were sold to China. There is in my opinion nothing really special about these particular tracks, they were just priced high and somehow magically offered to the right customers.
This AJ month is my best in 14 months thanks to author driven pricing and some good old luck
