Yes I request all to stay away from subscription model those in those sub sites have to constantly work in pressure to earn small piece of money on this side we make even more with good prices

The month has ended much better than expected with some recovery in the last few days. What has helped my earnings is putting my prices up. Buyers still pay so I urge people to not be afraid of raising prices. Its better for the market and everyone benefits all round.

While I can not express positive, the month ended with a 40% drop in income. I hope March will be much better. Good luck to all!

Hi friend definitely Market will be back… quality customers always need quality music they will never go. To cheap elements or any other subscription music

Why you plan to lock ALL this thread because of one POST???

Not this thread mate. I’m referring to threads that discuss subjects on the edge of the community guidelines that go way off course!

Thank you for clarifying this.

What was offensive about my last post that was censored? We can no longer criticize the relentless effort to convince customers to sign up for elements instead of buying licenses from Market authors?

Those ads and messages on the front page do have an impact on our sales results. This thread is about “sales monitor”. Advertising impacts sales a great deal. Where is the ad on Elements saying “if you can not find the music you need here on elements, please browse the market for 500,000 more tracks and buy an individual license.” ?

Enabled, Some of us are actually reporting decent revenue results here, we just want to understand why Envato seems to be doing everything in their power to divert revenue away from market authors by convincing customers to sign up for elements instead? We certainly do not see any advertising messaging on elements that endorses the market in a positive way. So it looks like a one way street and and a calculated effort by envato to encourage customers to avoid buying licenses on market, but instead sign up for the subscription service. If this is the end goal of envato (have all customers pay $200 to go unlimited), why not turn the entire offering into one massive subscription model? Can you explain Envatos position and philosophy?

Feb 2019 I made - $906.22

Feb 2020 I made $1186

25% improvement year over year. I do see this as a surprise positive, and this is why I can not understand the relentless effort to drive customers away from the Market and into elements.

This is why!

Every minute, we create 11 sales on Envato Market.
Every minute, we license 160 items on Envato Elements.

I see that. A huge benefit to customers! They get hundreds of thousands of media items for one cheap price ($16.50 a month), it’s wonderful for customers!

“In these turbulent times”, when one successful author “this month” demonstrates their income, another less successful author “this month” who is just less successful or something like that is sitting reading you post, he feeling left out ( and unlucky ). Think about it.

They are not going to listen to us
Lets start our campaign
with the tagline ‘Subscription kills musicians lives’

Please suggest someone some way to save ourselves :disappointed_relieved:

The only way to save our self is to remove our stuff from Elements.

Envato will not stop with the subscription model is clear by now.

Obivoulsy this is not our aim… but just imagine if all author start to delete all their item. Maybe envato will be able to consider how each one of us are important …

We are not united, we are from all over the place, this will not happen.

You are right, there are many authors and everyone wants to earn money, and having refused such an offer, they will always find a replacement in the person of other authors. Most importantly, the main market should not be depreciated and become unnecessary in the future with such a formidable advertisement for only one market.
