Another Hard Rejection, feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I have just had my recent logo design hard rejected, I feel since my previous submission I have improved in terms of my design. However, there are obviously issues with either motif or typography that may be preventing an approval or even a soft rejection.

This rejection has been hard to process because of the time and effort put in, but it is what it is and like all designers, we must pick ourselves up dust ourselves off and go back to the drawing board right?

I am not sure if this is a factor in the rejection process, but this is the second submission I have had to upload an EPS 11 (CS) alongside an EPS 10 file due to the ‘Legacy Text’ either converting to outlines or broken fragments.

I detailed this within the help file, as well as informing the reviewer in the ‘Message to Reviewer’ section also. The hard rejection was from the quality team, so again there might be issues with the design or this EPS version fiasco I seem to be having. Regardless, feedback on this design would be greatly appreciated, as I head back to the design board.

Thank you for your time.

The front paw looks like unfinished.

Many thanks for the feedback, @SomethingDesign! Is that due to the lump on the side of it or just in general?

That white line doesn’t follow the volume and the paw looks amputated

Thank you for the details, the white line was not deliberate when staring at the design for ages I sadly missed this and it looked ok to me. But with fresh eyes I can see it can bring inaccuracies, when a second pair of eyes evaluates it. As for the paw I did do this deliberate I tried to make it too realistic but simplified, I contemplated just having it as a smooth flowing curve but went against this and may have paid the price. Thank you for addressing these issues out to me, it is greatly appreciated.

he has no choice and i do not agree with u … first of all , he did what u said and was rejected and if i advised this this is precisely because here they are considering the logo in very small size and as u may understand , with a way thinner “partition” just like what he used to have , the illustration does not look “neat”

Thank you for the feedback as always, the paw could be a factor as to the rejection or maybe not. Unfortunately we will never know, I am beginning to think maybe trying to involve a big cat in a logo may not be a great idea at the moment and should probably look at other design emblem/motifs maybe lol.

as for me i am not shocked by it … maybe it could be improved , this is possible but if u wanna know how i feel indeed, this is not worth trying to fix this, u reworked and the thing still could not make it, basically u thus have very little chance to have it approved, just take it as such, post somewhere else there are fortunate many places to post logos indeed , and u will check how it goes there …
