Use some high quality images from sites like pixabay, unsplash,picjumbo etc. They will give a premium touch to your theme.
Improve the spacing as @drsankarl mentioned above.
Also, play with the typography a bit.Choose a different font.
Also, make it look more unique in terms of design and features else you will end up being rejected.

No one can help you with making it unique. keep visiting inspiration websites like dribbble, cssmania, cssawards,bestwebdesigns etc until you get a spark.

They hard rejected it for my submission Lyra:
isn’t ready for ThemeForest and cannot be resubmitted as it did not meet our minimum requirements for quality and/or Envato Market policies. In order for submissions to be considered for sale they must be of high aesthetic and technical quality, unique to our library and cannot be in violation of Envato’s policies.
and they didn’t mention reason or reasons of rejection.

Well, I have seen your theme on larger screen 1920x1200 and the layout is not well managed for XL screens though it is good on my laptop screen and yes, you need to work a lot with spaces, layout design as well as with the code standards. Wish you good luck.
