Wordpress Theme Soft Rejected - Need some feedback

Hi! i submitted my Wordpress theme “Reco” and got hard rejected.

The Demo URL is: http://estudiopatagon.com/themes/wordpress/reco/ i have personal To-Do list:

  • Change the content and photos to make it more attractive
  • Add effects
  • Input and select boxes will be customized and/or reworked.
  • Maybe add more features (layouts, demos, etc)

Right now the template is not using a page builder im going to keep that feature as simple as possible. But i think the main problem is about the design (spaces, alignment, colors, etc)

This theme is approved for Ghost, but the standards are lower than Wordpress.

Hope anyone can help me with some feedback i will really appreciate it.

Hope anybody can help if there is design problems or just need more features.

I think that you design is good but not special design for themeforest approved.

I know that you designs blog, etc is not special for themeforest. Like blog for example: http://preview.themeforest.net/item/writing-blog-personal-blog/full_screen_preview/11547928, you can search themeforest blog for example approved themeforest.

Hi! now i did several changes to the template and im working on a version nº 2 of this template:

I got a soft rejected now, but the reviewer just said this to me:

  1. Unfortunately, WordPress has higher standards in terms of aesthetics.

Your design has an interesting starting concept, but it needs significant improvements in terms of aesthetics and attention to details.

As higher quality items become available in the marketplace, approval requirements will increase to maintain appropriate marketplace quality.

While I’d be able to provide feedback as to how to get this approved, I can only do after it has crossed a certain threshold, quality wise. I’m sorry to say this isn’t there yet.

Hope anybody can help me, i’m not pretty to add extra features or it is just a design problem.
