Can someone give me advice about my wordpress theme design?) I got Soft Reject.

Hi!
I uploaded my first Wordpress Theme for themeforest
and get something like soft reject:

Your design has an interesting starting concept, but it needs significant improvements in terms of aesthetics and attention to detail.

As higher quality items become available in the marketplace, approval requirements will increase to maintain appropriate marketplace quality.

While I’d be able to provide feedback as to how to get this approved, I can only do after it has crossed a certain threshold, quality-wise. I’m sorry to say this isn’t there yet.

Where to start?

  • An overall design quality

  • Visual hierarchy and aesthetics

  • Typography

  • Forms and buttons

  • More attention to details

  • Better design consistency

  • An overall spacing

  • Color contrast and schemes

I understand that my theme is not beautiful, you can see it here

Also I understand about typography, color contrast, but that’s it)
Can you give me some advice? Everything is horrible?

As I know hard reject can’t be resubmitted, right?

Yeah, You’re absolutely right. Hard Rejected submissions can’t be resubmitted. It’s look like soft.

Apart from that, I can say the following; You are most likely having problems with the design.

For Example;

You have to check these rules;

  • Line-Heights
  • Menu/Dropdown Positions
  • Contrast Values (Slider and other sections with photos, texts need to contrast for readability)
  • Empty Space Between Sections
  • Font Sizes
  • Cursor (Not working on MacOS Catalina - Chrome 80)
  • Side Menu (Animations Slowly and Not Fluent)
