Design and pacing are both pretty weak. The animation doesn’t hit with the music either. Font choice, weight and style is poor. Animation is clunky.
If you’re going to do “simple” then you need to excel in design, animation and execution. Simple doesn’t mean easy. I suggest not worrying about what others are doing and do your own thing. It doesn’t seem like the minimal type is your style, which is fine. Don’t force it. Make something else.
