Why I am getting only $3.12 in my 11$ Videohive item.

Hi!
Can someone please explain the fact in easy words. My template is 11$. But whenever I got a sell I have only earned 3.12$.
Is I am doing something wrong?

Check your Author fee here:

Maybe US Withholding Tax has taken from your sale earning. check your statements page.

After Effects fixed buyer fee = $6.00
Your items list price = $11.00
Your current author free rate = 37.5%

The list price includes the fixed buyer fee:
$11.00 - $6.00 = $5.00

$5.00 is your gross icome of the sale.
Based on this gross income you have to pay your author fee and in case of a sale to a US buyer the US withholding tax.

your last sale goes to a Non-US buyer = no US withholding tax
$5.00 * 37.5% = $1.88 commercially rounded author fee
$5.00 * 0.00% = $0.00 US withholding tax
$5.00 - $1.88 - $0.00 = $3.12 earnings
