It is necessary to ensure a balance between the instruments and a good articulation of the instruments.
Unfortunately this piece is unfixable IMO. It jumps all over the place compositionally and the transitions make no sense, would not be commercially viable for anything. The mix/production is very low quality as well. I wouldn’t waste any more time on it. I’d say find a track on here that you really like and try and reproduce it, not for sale, just to give you an idea of how to actually put something together that works, then try again!
