Hi folks,
I know I know! There is already a topic about this. But I got another point!
Guidelines say 3GB maximum file size but I found many of 4GB and more AE Templates in Videohive. So what is the last condition?
By the way, maximum file size as zip? OR size of after extracted?
Thanks a lot!
Hi,
Thanks for copy&paste. As I mentioned, I have already read the guideline. But as you can see this project published as 4GB
And this is the only one I can find. I’m very sure I saw 7GB.
So if max file size 3GB how can this happen?
Sorry! If I can’t write well to understand.
I didn’t mean more than 3 gb are not allowed. Please check:
Files exceeding 3GB in total size may be rejected if compression has not been optimized
Means there is a possibility to get rejected if compression has not been optimized.

Ok but what is mean of optimized? What could be more than right click and compress?
Is there any standarts of the zip file which Envato editors checking?
The infinity pack having a 5000+ elements in a single item is one good big addon for videohive. I think videohive will see the sales potential of the item and consider giving space…
Hi, exceptions are made if you have a high value project. You can contact support and ask them.
It means that 3gb limit exceeding should be justified. Usually it is ok for big projects with lots of elements and might be ok for 4K projects with lots of pre-renders
