Hi - I am trying to import the demo content. As suggested, I will need to have a few plugins installed and activated first. Layer slider and unyson seem to have installed fine, but I cannot find Revolution slider and designerthemes core plugin. Any help will be appreciated.

Before demo import you have to do something like this:

  1. install theme.
  2. theme will recommend you to install recommend theme bundle plugins install and you have to unstall those plugins.
  3. may be your theme will ask you to register the theme license for getting bundle plugins install features and for demo import. So, you have to register the theme using your purchase code or as theme required.
  4. then you will be able to import demo with all resources.

Please check the theme documentation hopefully you will get necessary help in documentation.

If you have still problem the best way to get the support is Contact your purchased Item Author. How to Contact Author and let them know because Item Author are best expert about their Item functionality. Don’t worry just contact Author. Author will be very happy to assist you.

There is no documentation in the theme that helps with this. My problem is that I cannot install the plugins that are recommended. The following link explains the below:

How To Import Demos

  • Install and activate these plugins before you proceed: Revolution Slider, Layer Slider, Designtheme Core Plugin , Unyson plugin and WooCommerce. Woocommerce is only needed for an online shop
  • Navigate to the Unyson > Active Extensions > Backup & Demo Content (Install)
  • Navigate to the Tools > Demo Content Install > Select the demo Content > install
  • Please be patient, as it may take few minutes to import everything. Once it is completed, you will receive a success message finally.
    My problem is that I cannot find Revolution Slider and Designthemes Core.

If those plugins not included in your download then there is possibility those plugin will use author online repositiry to install. PLease go to Recommend Plugins Installation page and try to install from there.

The Layer and Revolution Slider are recommended plugins. When you install “VIGIL”, you will get a notification message in your WordPress admin telling you to install the required and recommended plugins.

Step 1 – Click to VIGIL installing plugins the top of the page

Step 2 – Check boxes to select all the plugins you want to install and click on Install from the dropdown box and then click the button to Apply .

Step 3 – After you have installed all the plugins, click on Return to Required Plugins Installer.

Step 4 – Select the plugins you installed, and apply the bulk action to activate .
