I’m going to upload some of my audiojungle music to youtube and I was thinking to make some kind of compilation of videohive videos. So I’m wonder, Is it allowed to use videohive preview files without asking permission of an author?

I believe you should always ask permission to the authors, in every envato marketplace.

i did the same with my youtube channel (see it in my profile). I have always asked permission to the authors and never got problems

Thanks, information from this article was really helpful. Actually you don't have to ask permission as far as you're using watermarked preview files and you have include a link to this item into description.

You can download it directly from videohive. When you press the play button, there is a link at the top left of the window. The same thing is on audiojungle, you can download a watermarked preview of any audio which is on the market.
