Uncode says I've 'exceeded the maximum number of activations' but I haven't. What gives?

In WP Admin: “According to the Envato License Terms, you have exceeded the maximum number of activations permitted for a single Purchase Code. Please purchase an additional license.”

I have only one website using this theme, always been the same for many years. Nothing’s been hacked and nothing’s changed.

I see there’s maybe a new way to update the theme as things have changed since Uncode 2.0. The support website says “To register your product, navigate to Uncode → System Status and look for the Product Registration section. To complete the registration, you’ll need the Envato Purchase Code.”

I have the correct purchase code but it says the same thing - too many activations. Not true!. I’m stuck, and my concern is that I don’t have support, as I’m not prepared to buy it. I shouldn’t need it. Does anyone know how to help?

Hi, thanks. Forgive my inexperience but where is the item page? I’m not sure what you mean.

Edit - I’ve found the item page, apols. But this is the precise issue - my free support ran out years ago. So I can’t get support via this route.

I gave up, the author didn’t respond. I didn’t see an obvious way forwards without spending money on support so rebuilt the site in Divi. Not gonna use Uncode again that’s for sure.
