When I try to update or use template it says (You have exceeded the max. number of activations, allowed by this activation key. Check your activations (E06) the gem theme) I just use the theme thrice for local and testing purpose only. Please help.

Ask the author https://help.market.envato.com/hc/en-us/articles/203039054-How-to-contact-an-author but you probably need deregister/remove from the local installation

I have actually the same problem. I cannot update the theme and is not working properly with the last Wordpress version. When I try to activate the theme I receive the same message " You have exceeded the max. number of activations, allowed by this activation key. Check your activations (E06)"
