I’ve noticed that it’s increased three times from a couple of years ago.
Having said that my question is
If I buy the annual plan and then cancel it after a month or two, how much would I pay?
$14 for each month or $212 regardless if I cancel before the year?

You have to pay the full year fee mean you will not get refund for the rest months. But your subscription will remain active for the full year to download items.

Also the items ( total number has been increased as well ) there are more items available compared to the previous years, that’s why the price change is necessary
