Why can’t I search for assets by their ID number? So if I’ve downloaded a placeholder e.g. 816476 – I can’t find it again to buy it.
I mean, this is pretty basic functionalty, right?
Yeah… it’s been on their to-do list for over a year now. Companies always seem to slow down quite a bit when they get large, eh?
If you post more details about the item, or upload the clip somewhere, someone may be able to find it for you.
There’s also two different numbers that can come from an item: its preview ID number, or its item ID number. The preview ID is typically very hard to reverse but the item ID is very easy, just by replacing the numbers in the URL e.g. https://videohive.net/item/-/12345
