It’s quite repetitive so that may be what the composition standard response is related to. Also pretty straightforward, there’s nothing really that sets it apart from the other piles of this type of thing.
I think mix-wise to my ears there’s definitely work that needs to be done to improve it. Most of the melody lines are too loud and some work needs to be done on smoothing out some of the sounds that either sound too dry or a bit cheap and ‘plastic’ (for example the harp at 1:10).
I think you’re on the right track and potentially in some other genre’s this quality level may pass, but there’s so much similar stuff to this so it really needs to be a higher quality finish to get past the review.
