I have an HTML item with 15$. I get 7.8$ per 1 sale. After envato opened option to set item price manually by authors, i got 7.13$ at the same price 15$ with cut -0.67$! How is that, and is this acceptable?
Author driven pricing is now based on a fixed buyer’s fee, rather than a percentage of the list price. In some instances, the fixed buyer’s fee will be lower than the previous amount, in some instances it will be higher. All depends on the price of your item and whatever the new fixed fee is. For your item, the buyer’s fee is higher, so it’s reduced your overall profit.
Based on that information, you have the choice to alter your item price, or keep it the same.
