I purchased Basel theme for my shopify store. When I downloaded it, I tried to upload it on my shopify store, But uploading is failed every time due to missing of ‘layout/theme.liquid’ file. I am very sad to see this. What is the problem? What should I do now? Kindly, help me in solving this problem as soon as possible.

Assuming you did definitely purchase the Shopify version of that theme then make sure you are only trying to install the theme folder and not the entire download
The theme require entire downloaded zip file to be uploaded but it failed due to missing of above mentioned file.
You are trying to say that I just need to upload theme folder not the entire zip file ?
Seems that you are uploading wrong .zip file. You should unzip package you downloaded from themeforest and you will find another .zip in it, which should be called like your THEM-NAME.zip. Please try to install that .zip

Yes sure! In zip file, there is another zip file. First unzip the main file that you have purchased and then upload the theme file inside the folder.
