We’re trying to load the flatsome theme to my themes on my site and keep getting an error that the php.ini file is too large.
What does that mean? and how do we fix it?

It’s up to your host to configure the maxmimum file upload size so author can’t do much about it.
I’d rather upload via FTP instead or contact hosting to increase file upload size (most probably they won’t)
