HI,

I hope I am doing this right. I am new to Envato and am seeking support.

I just downloaded the photo contest plugin and set up a contest on my site. It was so easy and looks amazing - but as I am testing it, every photo gets rejected as being too large. It says there is a .2 MB file limit?? Is there any way to get around this? I am trying to run a kids’ coloring contest and wanted parents to upload scans/photos of their kids’ coloring pages but I am not sure this is going to work now. Can I change that .2 MB limit? Can anyone offer any advice so I can save my contest?

Hey Lisa!

That file size limit is actually imposed by your web host, not the plugin. If you’re not experienced in editing php.ini files, or not sure if you can do so, I would recommend contacting your host and asking them to increase the maximum uploaded file size to something a bit more reasonable.

Thanks so much! I will ask my host. I thought this was weird for the plugin. Makes sense it’s on my side.

yes off as bailey said please do contact your hosting support and get your limit increased
