Newinvi Theme Developer Vanished

I really like the presentation of the theme, it’s perfect for what I had in mind. I just can’t bring myself to buy it at that price knowing that the author has disappeared. Anyone know of any similar themes? One of the main aspects I love is the category images on the sidebar. That theme had so much potential, hopefully the author does show back up one day if he or she is alright.

You can create some functinonalities using plugins, it doesn’t have to be a theme. For example, you can show categories via this widget: https://codecanyon.net/item/advanced-categories-widget/422878?s_rank=1 Search for “wordpress sidebar categories widget” to find maybe even free plugins.
