I don’t think we’re “playing” at all, as authors are not eligible for prizes.
hey dtbaker, I’ not sure if Mike’s sentence came out right. He could have only meant with his post that it is not about the author who sells the most, but the affiliate.
An author can be both an author and an affiliate, so maybe Mike can clarify if authors are really not allowed to join the competition, and if so, why?
Regarding my first question, I still think it is good if people trying to referr buyers to this marketplace have any feedback about whether their strategy is working or not and their links actually generate returning customers.

Today’s March 7th… I didn’t receive any email, so I guess I didn’t make it. 
I got an email this morning, announcing the winners. Didn’t see your name in the list though, unfortunately.

Unfortunately not! It was just a “here’s the winners” type email, rather than a “you’re a winner” type email. Maybe next time!
I just realized that sometime last year I subscribed as an author but never submitted any product.
I’ve been sending hundreds of visitors every day to GraphicRiver and I can’t believe I forgot that I was subscribed as an author!
This is embarrassing and frustrating. I can’t even know if I would have made it into the winners list…
