I’m using AI CC(2014) version. Guidelines says all the logo template files should be in EPS 8-10 versions. When I save in EPS 9 version in AI CC it becomes uneditable (Texts). Is there a solution for this. Also I need to know whether this EPS 8-10 thing is applied to other catagories too. Thank you!!

yeah it works. I used AI CS5 which allowed me to save in editable EPS10.
