My new music been rejected

Hi guys, im a new author who submitted a track but rejected by envato recently. message: Thank you for your submission. We have completed our review of “Dreamy Day” and unfortunately we found it isn’t at the quality standard required to move forward, and you won’t be able to re-submit this item again.

Here is the comment from your Envato Quality team reviewer:

This item does not meet the general commercial quality standard required to be accepted on AudioJungle, unfortunately.

Thank you for taking the time to submit content to AudioJungle.

question: is this mean the music mix is not good enough to sell online or the music genre is not suitable for the market? if its the mix, can i remix it and re-upload for review again?

Thanks guys

  1. The track is beginning with silence, remove it
  2. There’s too much panning motion going on, it can be distracting

Thanks for your advise… i thought export with 1 bar empty is easier for editor to edit with tempo… haha …

mind to tell me more about the music and the mix? wish can improve more… Thanks…

Consider that AJ clients have really small attention span, so always make sure to have small intros, just get on with the melody and what you have to show them as soon as you can.

To translate this for this specific track, the melody doesn’t come into play until 0:25. I think a lot of clients generally stop listening at 0:20. So I would start melody a lot sooner.

As for the mix, I think it’s good enough for AJ. I personally find this track commercially appropriate, not sure about the reviewer, though. Don’t think too much about the text they wrote you, it just means “Your track was rejected and we don’t have enough resources to speak to you about the reasons why it was rejected”.

P.S. Take a look at this page if you haven’t already
